small business graphic design rates

Your business is unique and so are your design needs. In order to give you a proper estimate I require a little information and we may need to have a short discussion about the details of you project. To get that process started you can request an estimate.

Below you’ll find some rough pricing for common packages to give you an idea of what to expect.

logo and identity design rates

from $1500

An identity package is an exploratory process where we establish the brand values associated with your business, your target market, and how your product or service is positioned in the marketplace. We then develop a visual identity to engage and communicate with your audience. In this process I create a logo, we choose a colour scheme and typefaces, and I create a style guide so you can ensure your business’ identity is consistent in all media.

print design rates

from $750

This package includes the standard print needs of most businesses: a business card, letterhead, and a brochure to promote your business with. Options are available for the format of your brochure and a postcard or rackcard can be added for greater marketing options.

from $1700

A strong website is the most important marketing tool for most businesses. I have a reliable web team who can create and develop sites of all sizes. I’ll design your web template and work with my team to implement it online. As part of the package, your site will be built using a content management system which will allow you to log in and make simple changes yourself.

real price policy

Some designers only use “project fees”, meaning they give you a price and that’s what you pay, no matter how long it took them to do the work. The problem is that this encourages designers to over-budget and under-deliver. It’s in their interest to do as little work as possible.

My Real Price Policy means pricing that’s fair for everyone. Estimated budgets are are based on the actual time I expect your project to take. I track my time carefully and you only pay for the real time spent. If it looks like a project might exceed the estimated budget, we’ll discuss our options and decide on the best way to proceed.
